Owen!

My friend Claudia has been kind enough to host me for New Years and a nice little pre Surf Expo Orlando, FL visit. I can't even tell you how nice it's been to be able to go for an outdoor run wearing shorts and my lungs not burning from cold air. Claudia is a Pilates instructor and has her studio in her home (visit her website and make an appointment with her if you're in Orlando and want a great workout!! www.abetterbodypilates.wordpress.com ) Claudia also volunteers at an animal shelter once a week and fosters rescued animals as well. Owen is one of her dogs that was rescued and she then adopted. He's a 10 year old long haired Chihuahua that was severely neglected - lost all his teeth, was way underweight (tough to imagine on an already tiny dog!!). Claudia has done a lot of work with him and makes a point to take him out with her and tell his story being the animal advocate that she is.
